2010 ROASTERS CHOICE TASTING COMPETITION

The Roasters Guild & Specialty Coffee Association of America would like to invite all current Roasters Guild Members to participate in the 2010 Roasters Choice Tasting Competition. This event will be held in conjunction with the SCAA’s 22nd Annual Exposition & Symposium April 15th – 18th, 2010 in Anaheim, CA.

The Roasters Choice Tasting Competition is an event intended to highlight the craft of roasting while providing attendees the opportunity to taste some exceptional coffees in a relaxed environment. All exhibition attendees will be provided a ballot with their registration badge allowing them to vote for their favorite; the tasting will be blind. The winner will be announced, based on the results of the balloting at the end of the expo.

Steps to sign you and your roast up: MUST BE A ROASTERS GULID MEMBER

1. Fill in the online form – CLICK HERE
2. Roast (15 lbs) of coffee on April 12th or 13th
3. Express deliver by April 14th to the following address: On a separate piece of paper, please include your name, last name, cell, email address and RG member number inside the package.

Additional Information:

• Roasts may be packaged in any type of 1-2lb bag.
• Roasts will be brewed on a FETCO CBW 2032e

It will be assumed that all submitted coffees were roasted on the recommended dates. Ten finalists will be brewed on-site. Those coffees not selected for the competition will be donated to charitable organizations in the Anaheim Area. Results will be announced on Sunday on the Insider Information Station on the Exposition hall floor. Time TBA
